Stellaris believes in giving people the skills to take control of their own lives. Our specialist training, coaching and mentoring programmes encourage ACC claimants to achieve their highest possible levels of independence.

The ultimate goal of all our programmes is rehabilitation and re entry into the workforce through self-employment or paid employment where appropriate. We work towards restoring the confidence that is lost through an accident and injury.

Claimants are treated with care and compassion, while being motivated to use their abilities despite their injuries towards independence.

Stellaris is registered to work with ACC in the following regions, and is working towards expansion into other areas, including Auckland:

Our programmes give claimants the skills to take control of their own lives. The programmes are structured in individual and group formats.

Where possible we visit claimants in their own homes so that a holistic aproach to rehabilitation is developed. Read more about our programmes here.

Builder with an injury that prevented upward pressure – Stellaris trained him to run his own contracting business. Result: Came off ACC in three weeks after two years on compensation.
Young man injured in an accident ten years earlier. He is paralysed from the neck down and yet in less than 15 weeks had a website design business up and running with the help of Stellaris. Visit Matt at www.getonlineltd.co.nz
Farm labourer living in a remote area has a head injury. Stellaris provided assistance with literacy, work search, modernising skills and placement into work.
Driver based in rural town has an accident that crushes a limb. He must lose 40 kg in order to meet requirements for surgery. Claimant’s individual Stellaris-designed plan incorporates targeted gym work, diet guidelines and motivational sessions. Result: weight loss takes pressure off limb and leg no longer requires amputation.
Sharemilker has back injury. Stellaris helps him learn management skills and he is now contracted for a much larger farm where he can employ workers to do the backbreaking work.
