Frances Denz: Guest presenter at Higher Education Curriculum Design Colloquium

Stellaris Director Frances Denz presented her paper: Where you start makes all the difference to an international audience of leading curriculum designers recently. Using the  Stellaris Certificate In Governance (Level 7) as her case study, Frances explains how it makes a difference to the learner if a course is designed to be academic or applied in nature. The Stellaris Certificate in Governance is an applied course designed to educate new and experienced directors and trustees in the skills and competencies of being on a board in the real world.

Ron Scott has been busy writing articles that have been published in some prestigious journals. Up for the Board was published in the July 2012 edition of Tonic,  Governance Responsibility was published in the Oct 2011 edition of Exporter Magazine
and Recruiting Directors was published in the January 2012 edition of Human Resources

Libraries as far away as Australia have ordered copies of the New Director.  The book was reviewed in the August edition of the NZ Business Magazine and will be featured in an upcoming edition of HR Journal.

Stellaris judges its success by the value they add to their clients.

Rick Fisher was a struggling artist in February. He worked with Stellaris on his marketing skills with our specialist art business consultant. Rick has had two major exhibitions since September and his art has increased in value from $300 each in January to in excess of $1000 per piece today. We are recommending he increase his prices even more as he cannot keep up with demand. Value of our services to Rick? $26,000

A client was saved from potential disaster when we discovered her employment policies were bordering on illegal and would certainly have caused problems if a personal grievance had been brought. Value to the customer? $12,000.
